- Wound assessment issues
- Wound cleansing issues
- Warm, moist wound healing
- Wound dressing types
- Frequency of dressing changes
- Infection, odour and skincare
- Infection control
- Multi-disciplinary working
- Caring for the non-healing wound
- Knowledge test
Lecture, group discussion, case studies
and practical exercises.
Students are assessed on the basis of
their performance of the exercises and
in the summative test at the end.
