Where do you hold your training?
I hold my training on-site, in your premises.
What area do you cover?
I'm based in London, but go where I'm needed!
How many students do you take?
Up to 15 students mainly, but up to eight for courses involving practical exercises such as First Aid.
Who are your courses suitable for?
My courses are suitable for novice and experienced nursing and care staff. My health and safety-based courses are also suitable for all levels and disciplines of staff eg: housekeeping, catering, maintenance etc.
How long are your courses?
The majority of courses last three hours though my First Aid course lasts a full seven hours.
What teaching methods do you use?
I employ a variety of approaches, including individual and group exercises, discussion, role-play and hands-on practical exercises, depending on the course.
Is there a test?
Yes! A short multiple-choice test must be passed for students to gain their Certificate of Achievement.
What are your courses based on?
My courses are based on statutory requirements such as the Care Standards Act, the Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH and Food Hygiene Regulations. In addition, my courses reflect guidelines issued by the FSA, the HSE, the MDA, the DH, NICE, the RC(UK), the VAS, the RPSGB and the NMC.
Do you offer a discount?
I offer a 10% discount for training paid in advance. I also offer a sliding-scale of reductions so the more training you book, the less you pay!
